3M Venture Tape Metal Building Facing Tape 1531CW is a film/scrim/kraft faced tape designed for vapor seal applications, including Lamtec WMP-10 faced insulation. Flexible and durable, this 7 mil tri-directionally reinforced tape conforms well to irregular surfaces and curves while offering excellent resistance to weather, mold, UV and environmental conditions. Plus, it offers good puncture and tear resistance. This easy-to-use, white-colored tape requires no special tools or application methods and adheres on contact to a variety of substrates, including metal. Designed with acrylic adhesive that performs well in sub-zero to tropical temperatures, it performs in temperature ranges of -40 °F/-40 °C to 185 °F/85 °C. From cold to hot conditions, this adhesive offers consistent reliability. The 2.83 in tape is UL723 Classified (0/5 Flame/Smoke Rating). This facing meets ASTM C1136 type II and IV.
